Meanwhile, according to sources, SPAK's investigations have revealed another suspected episode of corruption attributed to the former Meta-Kryemadhi couple. It concerns another bank card that was used for various purchases and expenses.
According to sources, the bank card was made available to Kryemadhi and Meta by businessman Adrian Shatku.
Preliminary investigations previously revealed another "American Express" card that had been used and made available by the same businessman. It is learned that SPAK is expected to clarify the episode regarding Meta's accusation of lobbying the former LSI, as new data on payments and the contract have been discovered from the letter orders.
Meta, who has been in custody since October, will not attend today's GJKKO hearing, but will be represented by his lawyer, Kujtim Cakrani. Meta and Kryemadhi are charged with corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
