Analyst Ben Andoni stated that the meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama today in Milan was simpler than the one on May 9 in Athens.
Invited to RTSH-24, Andoni said that this is due to the relations and importance that Italy has had in our country.
" This was the easiest meeting of Prime Minister Rama in his round of meetings with the Albanian diaspora. First of all, for the great importance that Italy has for relations with Albania, not just historical, economic, but layered from the past that represent a larger plane" , Andoni said.
Andoni said that he expected this reception and the messages of Prime Minister Rama today were within the framework of the historical relations between the two countries and the identification of Albanians in Italy.
" He was careful not to equate the Albanians of Greece with those of Italy, because during his speech Rama said that because of the need, the sacrifice went to the point where he had to change the names in the neighboring states of Greece," he said. .
So the analyst Ben Andoni said that Rama took care to talk about historical relations but did not mention the dark times that we have measured as our two countries.
"In Italy, Albanians have faced a different situation when Mr. Rama tried to watch this approach carefully, not creating jealousy among the diaspora. Mr. Rama today showed that over the years the Albanians removed these prejudices that they had in Italy as part of their identification ", he said.
Andoni said that what was to be appreciated was the presence of the flags of the two countries and the interpretation of the two national anthems.
"What I want him to appreciate is the presence of the Albanian and Italian flags as well as the singing of the national anthems of the two countries. Italian Albanians are integrated and have their own businesses, which are defined by a double identity, Albanian-Italian. The presence of the flags was a tribute to the Italian state that has given him this opportunity. Mr. Rama tried to show until the end of his speech that this relationship extends from time to time of Arbëresh" , said Andoni.
According to him, what can be said about Rama's speech was the avoidance of the "dark" part of our relations between the two countries.
