The US Embassy in Tirana has posted on social media a message from Secretary of State Marco Rubio about the US government's unwavering stance on illegal immigration and national security.
“We are steadfast in our commitment to ending illegal immigration and strengthening America's border security,” Secretary Rubio wrote.
According to him, the two new National Defense Zones along the southern border and the application of strict vetting standards for visa applicants are key steps in preserving the country's internal and public security.
These measures come at a time when the United States aims to increase border controls and improve verification systems to prevent illegal entry and ensure national security.
