Educator and analyst Ermal Hasimja stated that one in five Albanians today works in the state.
Hasimja made his comments on the show "Barometer" on Euronews Albania, where he said that during the campaign the number of Albanians employed in the state exceeds 200 thousand, a figure that, according to him, leaves behind many countries in the region.
He also added that a large part of those who work in the state do not even know where they have their office, but simply receive their salary, which meant that these employments are done for electoral purposes.
" You remember that survey that 66% of Albanians intended to work in the state. Today, one in five Albanians works in the state. Only France reaches this kind of level or record.
From the point of view of the public administration, which goes over 180 thousand and which will go to 200 thousand in the campaign, we exceed by several times the administration of Slovenia, for example, or of other countries in the region. Most of these people don't even know where their office is, they just get their salary ," said Hasimja.
