Security expert, Fation Softa, has raised doubts about the serious event that happened on Thursday afternoon in Durrës, where deputy commissioner Arben Pjeçi committed suicide with his service weapon inside the premises of the police station.
Softa has said that it is strange how the sound of the gun with which Pjeçi is alleged to have killed himself has not been heard.
He also said that he was surprised by the fact that the family members could not get in touch with the victim and that the other members of the police station were not aware of the incident.
According to Softa, this event should be thoroughly investigated by the investigative team and AMP.
" He goes in and out of the police station. There is also contact with others. All offices with regulations must have the key from the outside. How is it possible that the family members could not find where he was? And the gun that killed itself has not been heard? Why should he think to minimize the noise, when he was going to kill himself? This is up to the investigative team and AMP. If we talk about it, it seems that he was in a normal state then. Softa said.
