The former mayor of Lushnje, Fatos Tushe, presented himself to SPAK today. He was seen entering the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office accompanied by his lawyer.

Tushe has been found to have hidden properties in the name of other people. When he left the premises of the Special Prosecutor's Office, Tushe said that he was called in connection with the non-declaration of an asset.
Fatos Tushe was previously convicted for 'abuse of duty' and allowing constructions without a permit. He was arrested in July 2021 by an operation undertaken by SPAK on the charge of abuse of office.
His sentence was 2 years and 4 months in prison. Meanwhile, the GJKKO Appeal also found him guilty of the charge of violating equality in tenders, for which his sentence was increased by another year.
