
President Bajram Begaj, through a post on platform 'X', has revealed details of the discussions with British Foreign Secretary David Cameron, whom he failed to meet in Tirana, as the latter had to leave urgently in London for the meeting of to the government.
Begaj says that he discussed with Cameron the further strengthening of ties between the two countries, while he expressed gratitude to Britain for the strong support of the United Kingdom in defense, cyber security, police and judicial reform
"I had a call today with Mr. David Cameron, the British Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs. We discussed further strengthening our ties as long-standing NATO allies. Grateful for the UK's strong support in defence, cyber security, policing and judicial reform, alongside our joint efforts to fight crime and corruption. The increase of the United Kingdom's troops in KFOR is particularly appreciated", writes Begaj.
