Meteorologist Hakil Osmani has made the weather forecast for the second week of January, emphasizing that we will be dealing with an improvement in the weather in terms of precipitation. He adds that the cold will gradually ease starting from the Albanian territory to the region.

"This week there is an improvement in the weather, where during this week we will have alternating clouds but no precipitation. The problem has been the significant drop in air temperatures with minimum values of -12 degrees in cities in mountainous areas.

From Tuesday onwards, we will experience a cold front, causing air temperatures to increase.

The weekend will bring negative values only in deep mountainous areas. Today the wind will be strong at least until the afternoon hours, while from Tuesday onwards we have a decrease in the intensity of the wind parameter.

These low temperatures, which are recorded several degrees below zero in a large part of the Albanian territory, have also brought frost on road axes, but almost the entire eastern stretch will again have such a situation by Wednesday because air temperatures will continue to be low.

Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro will also experience negative temperatures today, with minimums of around -12 degrees in Pudojevo. In Kosovo, maximums are recorded at -2 degrees, while low temperatures will also be experienced in North Macedonia, with minimums of -11 degrees.

"On Tuesday and the following days, we will also have an increase in air temperatures in the region," said Hakil Osmani.
