The Korça region continues to face low temperatures and snowfall, which have caused landslides and blockages on rural roads.
Families have been evacuated to the villages of Cërrava and Dardhas in the Municipality of Pogradec, while the Dunicë road in the Trebinje Administrative Unit and the Zall–Torra road in Proptisht remain impassable.
On national axes, traffic is carried out with winter tires and cleaning and salting are being carried out in the Boboshticë–Dardhe, Maliq–Kufi Gramsh, Korçë–Ersekë segments, while muddy alluvium from the slopes remains a problem, especially in the Lozhani area.
Electricity supply is guaranteed for important consumers, although some rural feeders are partially without power. Civil emergency structures and OSHEE operational teams are on the ground to manage the situations and restore normal supply to the affected areas.
Authorities warn drivers to drive carefully and follow the instructions of teams on the ground, monitoring the situation until the problems are completely neutralized.
