Journalist Klodiana Lala has provided some details about the TNT found in the hotel of former Durres Mayor Vangjush Dako. She said that the explosive was a message that had been sent to the police forces for a long time.
Lala further added that the police are working to identify motives and that the former mayor has not been questioned about the incident.
" Regarding the explosive material, there was a message that has been coming to the police forces for a long time. There is talk of a threatening message and at some points the amount of explosive material was a small amount, and at that moment there were no people around. The police are dealing with identifying the motives and the former mayor of Durrës has not been questioned about the incident. Investigations are ongoing and it is likely that the police structures are investigating links to criminal structures ," Lala said on the "Log" show.
