Analyst Frrok Çupi has described Rubin's public defense as a clear signal of the return of American attention to Kosovo.
Çupi said the United States' commitment to Kosovo has never been deeper than today, and this should be seen as a direct message.
According to Çupi, the return of Hashim Thaçi to the leadership of Kosovo is a political and historical necessity.
" What is happening with Kosovo is different from what has happened before. America has never been so committed as it is for Kosovo. James Rubin is an American factor, he was an important defense for the former KLA leaders. Europe has made such a big mistake with Kosovo and the Albanian race, it must make a correction. Albania and the EU cannot be on the same tribune with those who have accused our country so severely. The return of Hashim Thaçi to the head of Kosovo is a necessity. He is the only politician who knows what Kosovo is in relation to the international community and how it is governed," said analyst Frrok Çupi.
We recall that in continuation of his testimony at the Special Court in The Hague, this Tuesday, September 16, former US Assistant Secretary of State, James Rubin, raised serious concerns about justice and the international narrative that has been built against the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.
