The 82nd edition of the Tour of Albania will start this Monday, in a 5-day marathon, which will provide a lot of adrenaline for athletes from all over Europe. The 5 stages from May 26-30 are expected to be full of rivalry, which will record an edition that will affect the whole of Albania.
The Cycling Circuit of Albania, one of the oldest races in the world, will consist of 15 teams and 96 athletes, who will depart today from Tirana, for the first stage which will be 151 km long and will continue towards Rrëshen, to end in Shkodër.
In relation to this sporting event, the State Police has announced a plan of measures for the smooth running of the 82nd cycling tour of Albania, which takes place in 5 stages, in several cities across the country.
First stage/Date 26.05.2025
“Zogu i Parë” Road, Tirana - Durrës Road, from 11:30 to 12:30
“Durrës- Tiranë” Highway to Kashar, from 11:30 to 12:20
“Kashar – Thumanë” Highway, from 12:00 to 12:45
Thumanë – Milot, from 12:30 to 13.10
Milot – Rrëshen Road, from 12:50 to 13:45
Rrëshen – Milot Road, from 13:30 to 14:15
Milot – Lezhë Road, from 14:00 to 14:30
Lezhë – Shkodër Road, from 14:45 to 15:30
From "Balshaj" square on the "Zogu i Parë" road to Parrucë, Shkodër, from 15:10 to 15:45.

“Zogu i Parë” road to the Shkodra exit, from 11:40 to 12:15
Shkodra – Balldre road, from 12:00 to 12:45
Balldre – Thumanë road, from 12:15 to 13:30

Maminas – Durrës highway, from 14:00 to 15:00

The Tour of Albania will end next Friday with the fifth and final stage starting in Vlora and ending in Fier, where the winner of this 82nd edition will be crowned.
This tour comes just a few days after the 'Grand Opening' of the 'Giro D'Italia' was held in Albania, with 3 stages that started in Durrës, continued in Tirana and ended in Vlora.
