The Italian Embassy has reacted regarding the shameful event that happened in Berat where some tourists from Italy ran away from the restaurant without paying.
Through an announcement, the Embassy informs that following the order of Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, they have made the payment at the restaurant in Berat.
Earlier it was Prime Minister Edi Rama who shared the news that his Italian counterpart had asked to pay the bill at the restaurant where the Italian citizens ran away without paying.
"According to the order of the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, we made the payment of the account left unpaid by a group of Italian tourists in a restaurant in the city of Berat. Italians adhere to the rules and pay off their obligations and we hope that such incidents do not happen again. ", it is stated in the announcement of the Italian Embassy.
