She tells "TCH" that the children wanted to come to Lezha after giving their statements to the police, but they were asked to stay there.

The serious incident happened this morning, where the father had taken his two children hostage in a rented house. When RENEA forces went to rescue the minor children, he fired at them with a Kalashnikov. After several hours of negotiations, RENEA and the police managed to get the children out of the house, while the 40-year-old father Alex Marku was put under police handcuffs.
Initially, it is suspected that this act was committed after being under the influence of drugs, and all the elements so far are being investigated to clarify the motive for taking his minor children hostage and responding with weapons to the police.
