The Greek police have asked the Albanian police for information on the criminal activity of Roan Brahim, who was killed a few days ago in Greece during a well-organized assassination attempt.
Both polices are cooperating through each other by exchanging information about some names of possible Albanians who may have been implicated in this mafia murder.
The last time Tirana police officers checked the apartment of Roan Brahim alias Sidorel Prendi was in March 2024.
The luxury villa located in a residential complex in the area of Lundra, was searched by the police during the action to capture the suspected perpetrators of Gentjan Bejtja's murder. But during the action, only Roan's wife and children were found there.
The control was carried out immediately after the police had checked the house of Ilir Beqaraj alias Brahim, who according to police sources, is the brother of Roan Brahim's first wife in Albania (Kunati).
Ilir Beqaraj is currently in prison together with his worker Edison Haxhiu. But their arrest as participants in the murder of Bejtja and the control of the rental villa of his brother-in-law, Roan Brahimi, raised questions for him as well.
This information has already gone to the Greek police. Apart from this case, the name of Roan Brahimi is in the criminal files of the police, as a suspect in several serious events from the two assassination attempts on Ylli Brahimi, the murder of Manec, the blood feud with the Gjeloshi family in Lezhë and even the suspicions about the participation of his at the Fushë-Kruja overpass massacre, where Diklen Vata, Briland Martinaj and Besmir Hoxha were killed.
For the first time, the name of Roan Brahimi was launched in the media by the former Director of the Police of Lezha, Olti Bistri, who during an announcement in December 2021 said that he had announced the search for Roan Brahimi, Ramazan Rraja, the nephew of the former deputy of PS Rahman Rraja and Alesio Dobruzin as the perpetrators of the terror carried out with firearms in the premises of a billiards.
The three persons quickly fled from Rinas towards Dubai, without being arrested by the police. A few months later, the case against them was dismissed in the Lezha prosecutor's office.
The investigators in Albania say that the killing of Roan Brahimi is the result of a saga of physical eliminations, which started since 2014 in the city of Lezha and the conflict continues to remain open, taking lives of people.
The main track of the execution of Brahim alias Sidorel Prendi in Athens is related to an old story of blood feud between the two Prendi and Gjeloshi families.
In 2014, under the old bridge of Milot, Taulant Prendi and Klodian Ndreca were killed in an assassination attempt, while Aurel Prendi was seriously injured. Taulanti and Aureli were the two sons of Roan's uncle alias Sildi Brahim alias Prendi.
While the other track is closely related to his criminal activity in Albania, which during this period "floated" between the friendship of Ramazan Rraja in Fushë-Kruje, currently in prison for cocaine trafficking, and Plaurent Dervishaj from Durrës, who has been living in Dubai for several years as a person wanted by SPAK.
Roan alias Sildi Brahimi, is the son of Ylli Brahimi's wife's uncle, Ervis Martinaj's husband. Ylli Brahimi escaped two sensational assassinations in the area of Milot.
In these two assassinations, Ylli Brahimi was seriously injured, while his friend Klisman Preçi was killed on the spot. In both cases, Roan alias Sildi Brahimi was investigated and suspected by the criminal police as the organizer and author of two assassinations, due to a dispute that the two brothers had about the drug trade in Italy.
It is learned that Roan Brahimi, Ramazan Raja's close friend, has been suspected and interrogated for the serious incident of the murder of Arben Manec in Durrës, who was a friend of Landi Muharrem (Rrumi)./ Ora News
