A lawyer has passed away at the Mother Teresa University Hospital Center, after feeling unwell during a hearing at the Court of Appeal, the latter announced to the media.
The incident occurred at noon, in one of the courtrooms of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, where a criminal trial was taking place.
Attorney Gjovalin Ulndreaj, member of the Shkodra Bar Association, participated in the capacity of defense counsel.

"Following communication with the lawyer's family, it was announced that, unfortunately, the lawyer had passed away in the hospital ," the announcement states.
Lawyer Gjovalin Ulndreaj was one of the names who competed for the position of head of the BKH in January 2020. Ulndreaj had been practicing law since 2003, and was previously part of the State Police.

Today, on 28.01.2025, at around 12:00, in one of the trial halls of the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, a criminal trial was taking place, in which the lawyer Mr. Gjovalin Ulndreaj, a member of the Shkodra Bar Association, participated as a defense attorney.

Following communication with the lawyer's family, it was announced that, unfortunately, the lawyer had passed away in the hospital.
The judicial body of this Court and the administrative staff, appreciating the contribution to the process of delivering justice, expressed their most sincere condolences to the relatives of the late lawyer Gjovalin Ulndreaj.
