The head of "Nisma Thurje", Endri Shabani, has commented on the "champion of the anti-corruption war" award for the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani.
He said that what Altin Dumani is doing has a personal cost for him, but he is doing the public a great good. Shabani states that the head of SPAK is being supported by internationals such as the Americans, the British and the EU while adding that Albanian voters should do with their vote what Dumani is doing in justice.
Shabani also said that SPAK is disrupting the comfort of those who thought they were untouchable.
"Dumani is waging an extraordinary war, the Americans, the British, the EU support him, but the Albanians should also support him with their votes. Because Altin Dumani does not make laws, he implements the laws approved by these others who are being investigated by SPAK. What can Duman do tomorrow if those in Parliament make changes to the Criminal Code, remove two or three articles that he is using to prosecute the corrupt? Albanian voters should do with their vote what Duman is doing in justice" , said Shabani for "News 24".
