Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu analyzing the elections in the European Parliament, where the European right-wing political forces performed strongly in the European elections.
In an interview for "Report TV", the lawyer Spahiu also commented on the election of Fredi Beleri as an MEP with the party of Mitsotakis, from where he called on the president Bajram Begaj to announce early elections. This is because, according to him, now with the election as an MEP, Beleri is in a conflict of interest.
" There are two moments in one moment related to Beller's mandate and freedom. He calls on Begaj to urgently announce early elections in Himara, as a constitutional obligation derived from the law on local co-governance, because Fredi Beleri is in a conflict of interest and cannot be elected to two bodies at the same time. If the mayor runs for another body, then early elections are announced. Rama cannot be both Prime Minister of Albania and MEP. It is a vacant seat now. He should have announced it since he was on the list. How will he practice his profession?! Before September Fredi Beleri will be free, I do not wish harm to anyone, but I read the law.
The Court of Appeal cannot increase the sentence for Beler. I think the decision for Beleri will be within June. Fredi Beleri will be a free citizen to go to the EP" , said Spahiu.
