Sait Ruçi says that he brought a vehicle to Tirana to have it repaired by a mechanic, but the latter unfairly used it while drunk and as a result, not only did he cause damage to other vehicles, but due to this action, the "Audi" was also seized, which is now in a deplorable condition.
" My name is Sait Ruçi, I live and work in England. I brought my car here when I came on vacation. My car broke down, I sent it here to Tirana to the service and they told me I had to wait until they fixed the car. I returned to where I live, when I return to Albania, I go to the service and ask about the car and they tell me that a problem has occurred. The person who works at that service has used the car without my knowledge and an incident has occurred. He has scratched 2 other cars with my car. He had taken it for his own account, as far as I saw from the documents that had arrested him in flagrante delicto, I saw that the service worker had been driving while drunk. In this case, my car has been blocked ," said the complainant.
The Court of First Instance, in addition to sentencing the mechanic to 1 month in prison, decided that the vehicle should be immediately returned to the legal owner, but the perpetrator appealed the sentence, without having any claims for the return of the car.
" I have addressed the Tirana Prosecutor's Office to return my vehicle. Since the case continues in the Appeals Court, I have nothing to do with his case. I am simply asking for my vehicle to be returned to me as the owner of the car. I have made the request, but I have not received any response regarding this matter ," adds Sait Ruçi.
But apparently, the appeal has been considered in its entirety and the judgment in the Appeals Court is awaited. Lawyer Arben Llangozi, together with Sait, filed a request in the Appeals Court for the return of the item, without prejudice to the judgment for the author of the work.
