Albania declares Iran a terrorist state today/ Faces opposition criticism: It was not out of their own interest
The plenary session in the Assembly has begun after the approval by the Conference of Speakers of the inclusion in the agenda of the Socialist Party's draft resolution to declare Iran a state sponsor of terrorism.
As previously announced, the opposition is not present in the hall, boycotting the session with the argument that the draft resolution was not foreseen in the agenda. In the Parliament hall, the opposition seats are almost all empty, with the exception of MPs Redi Muçi and Erald Kapri.
During the session, the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, presented the draft resolution, expressing regret for the absence of the opposition at a moment that he considered important.
According to Balla, terrorism constitutes not only acts of violence, but also attempts to destabilize and undermine the democratic order.
Balla also touched on cyberattacks against Albania, mentioning the 2022 attack on state institutions, as well as a recent incident targeting the Parliament. He described these as hostile acts aimed at destabilizing institutions.
The draft resolution aims to condemn any form of state support for terrorism and calls on the Albanian authorities to declare Iran's Revolutionary Guard and Hezbollah as terrorist organizations.
From theft to money laundering/ SPAK communicates the charges against the defendants in the "Bankers" case
SPAK has completed its investigations regarding the 'Bankers' file, while filing 3 charges against 6 defendants in the case that was initially investigated by the Fier Prosecution Office and then transferred to Tirana.
The charges have been communicated to Leonidha Çobo, Ritvan Zoto, Elvira Plaku and 3 former employees of the Ministry of Finance.
Journalist Klodiana Lala, referring to information from SPAK, announced that they are charged with abuse of office, theft through abuse of office and money laundering. Referring to the investigative file, the defendants appear to have purchased land and leased it to the Bankers company at high rents.
Meanwhile, SPAK continues its investigations into one of the largest affairs in the hydrocarbons field.
SPAK's investigations were conducted by prosecutors Anita Jella and Enkeleida Millonai, and have also extended to the actions of tax authorities that have allowed Bankers' abuses over the years.
Another food scandal in Tirana/ AKU blocks 738 kg of dangerous chicken meat
Një tjetër rast shqetësues për sigurinë ushqimore është konstatuar në Tiranë, ku inspektorët e Autoritetit Kombëtar të Ushqimit (AKU) kanë ndërhyrë në një subjekt tregtar, duke sekuestruar një sasi të konsiderueshme mish pule.
Gjatë kontrollit në ambientet e biznesit KMY, u bllokuan 738 kilogramë fileto dhe gjoks pule, pasi u evidentuan shkelje serioze të standardeve higjieno-sanitare.
Sipas verifikimeve, mishi ishte trajtuar në kushte të papërshtatshme, duke u vendosur në tokë gjatë proceseve të ngrirjes dhe shkrirjes. Po ashtu, produkti ruhej në një ambient ku u konstatuan myk dhe ndryshk, elementë që përbëjnë rrezik të drejtpërdrejtë për shëndetin e konsumatorëve.

Humbi vëllanë në masakrën e Gërdecit/ Durda: Shkëlzen Berisha komunikoi me ish-ministrin 5 minuta pas shpërthimit
Geraldo Durda, i cili humbi vëllanë në masakrën e Gërdecit më 15 mars 2008, thotë se shpërthimi i ndodhur në fabrikën e demontimit të armëve, është krim shtetëror.
Në një intervistë për “Ora e Fundit” në ABC News, Durda u shpreh se Shkëlzen Berisha, djali i Sali Berishës, i cili ishte kryeministër asokohe, komunikoi me Fatmir Mediun, ministrin e Mbrojtjes, 5 minuta pas shpërthimit në Gërdec.
Durda deklaroi se për këtë ka prova në Gjykatën e Posaçme, ku janë tabulatet telefonike. Sipas Durdës, ka dëshmi të punëtorëve në Gërdec, të cilët thonë se Shkëlzen Berisha është parë në fabrikën e demontimit.
Çifti i tenderëve/ Si Arlinda dhe Edigen Pogaj kanë marrë peng 70% të blerjeve publike
Gjatë 12 viteve si shefe e tenderëve në Qendrën Spitalore Universitare "Nënë Tereza", Bashkinë e Tiranës, Agjencinë e Parqeve, Drejtorinë e Burgjeve, Drejtorinë e Transportit dhe prej 2 vitesh si Drejtoreshë e Operatorit Qendror të Tenderëve, Arlinda Pogaj ka bërë batërdinë.
