According to the announcement of the Media and Information Agency, Prime Minister Rama will receive the President of the European Council in the framework of diplomatic consultations that precede the regional summit in Tivat.
The EU-Western Balkans summit will be held only six months after the last meeting in Brussels, reflecting the European Union's continued commitment to strengthening relations with the countries of the region.

"The Palace of Congresses will be reborn"/ Rama reveals the plan: We will create a tourist pole in the heart of Tirana
The Palace of Congresses, one of the capital's most emblematic buildings, is expected to undergo a profound architectural and functional transformation, with the aim of turning it into a modern center of cultural activities and a new tourist destination for Tirana.
The news was announced by Prime Minister Edi Rama during the presentation of the project ideas of the five finalist teams in the International Competition for the Requalification of the Palace of Congresses, a process that he said is part of the capital's urban transformation strategy and the new management of public assets.
During his speech, Rama emphasized that the current building faces serious infrastructural and technical problems, which require immediate intervention.
"The Palace of Congresses, from the point of view of internal infrastructure, has serious problems to address. Now is the time for transformation while preserving its identity," declared the Prime Minister.
According to Rama, the project does not only aim at the reconstruction of the existing building, but also at the urban development of the surrounding area, creating new spaces that will increase the functionality and attractiveness of this part of the city.
He explained that the call for cooperation with private entrepreneurship foresees the development of one or several facilities near the Palace of Congresses, which will be integrated with the new vision of the complex.
Greek lies about Zvërnec/ Athens media questions Albanian history
Zvërnec seems to be creating a new clash between Athens and official Tirana, while Greece is making the most of the created situation, using the violation of minority rights and the encroachment on claimed properties.
The entire attack directed by Athens since Saturday, when the clash in Zvërnec occurred, is being treated as a robbery of the properties of Greek minorities, while essentially it seems that Greece's concern has to do with the investment in Zvërnec, which according to public statements by Prime Minister Edi Rama could reach 4.5 billion euros.
Official Athens and then the Greek media have exploited from the first moment the incident that occurred in Zvërnec between a protesting citizen and several civilians, who pose as security guards at a private company, creating a smokescreen that in fact seems to be directly related not to any violation of rights, but to the concern created by the billion-dollar project that, if realized, could directly compete with elite tourism throughout the region, including Greece.
Gërdec hearing at the GJKKO/ Fatmir Mediu is absent; his brother and Geraldo Durda are in the courtroom
The next hearing is being held at the Special Anti-Corruption Court against the former Minister of Defense in the Berisha government, Fatmir Mediu, who was named as a defendant in the Gerdec case.
Mediu is not present at the hearing, as he is in the United States of America. His brother is in the hall, as well as Geraldo Durda, who lost his 7-year-old brother in the explosion at the weapons dismantling factory in Gërdec.
For the umpteenth session in a row, Mediu's defense lawyers have objected to the scientific evidence presented by SPAK. The objections are mainly related to the designation of Gërdec as a weapons dismantling zone, as well as the legal definition that divides calibers into large and small.
Fatmir Mediu is accused of abuse of office, as according to SPAK, the procedures for establishing the dismantling factory in Gërdec, near a residential area, as well as the procedures related to ammunition were violated. The former minister has disputed the accusations and the findings of the experts.
The case against Mediu was reopened after 12 years, at the initiative of the Durda family, which lost a family member in the March 15, 2008 explosion at the premises of the former “Tank Brigade.” The explosion killed 26 people and injured hundreds more.
