Private Enea Mekolli is declared a Martyr of the Homeland
Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the incident in Maliq, where one officer was killed and another was injured. Rama wishes a speedy recovery to the injured officer, Edison Adri, 36, while demanding the maximum punishment for the perpetrator.
Meanwhile, the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, has requested a minute of silence for the death of state police officer Enea Mekolli in the line of duty. Mekolli, Balla announced, has been declared a martyr of the homeland.
The serious incident occurred this Thursday morning in the village of Lozhan in Maliqi, where a wanted person opened fire on police forces during an operation to capture him. The clash left officer Enea Mekolli dead, while police officer Edison Adri was seriously injured in the throat.
This morning, officers from the "Eagle" special forces and Criminal Police officers participated in the operation. During the intervention to capture him, the police forces called on Braçellari to surrender.
Sources for "Pamfleti" indicate that Officer Enea Mekolli was one of the police officers closest to the perpetrator during the operation. Taking advantage of his knowledge of the terrain and the environment around the apartment, Braçellari is suspected of having found the right moment to open fire on the officers.
According to the same sources, Enea Mekolli was the first to be hit with a bullet in the head, a wound that proved fatal. After him, Officer Edison Adri was also shot, taking a bullet in the throat area, leaving him seriously injured.
Immediately after the incident, Edison Adri was transported to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where he is receiving specialized treatment. His condition is reported to be serious. During the exchange of fire, the suspected perpetrator himself was also injured, receiving a bullet in the abdomen. He then dropped the firearm and surrendered to the police.

International media have paid special attention to the protests taking place in Tirana by environmental groups, as well as thousands of young people. The Guardian devoted an editorial to the developments in Tirana, as the fourth protest was held on Wednesday evening, while the police attempted to disrupt the gathering by setting up barriers on Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, but also by throwing water cannons at the protesters.
Media britanike shkruan se protestat kundër projektit të resortit luksoz të mbështetur nga Jared Kushner, dhëndri i presidentit amerikan Donald Trump, po marrin përmasa gjithnjë e më të mëdha në Shqipëri, ndërsa përplasja mes qeverisë, organizatave mjedisore dhe banorëve lokalë po thellohet.
Mijëra protestues u mblodhën në Tiranë për të tretën ditë radhazi, duke kërkuar pezullimin e menjëhershëm të projektit që parashikon ndërtimin e një kompleksi turistik me vlerë 1.6 miliardë dollarë në një nga zonat më të ndjeshme ekologjikisht të Mesdheut. Organizatorët kanë paralajmëruar se protestat do të shtrihen edhe në jug të vendit, pranë zonave ku kanë nisur punimet paraprake.
Në mesin e protestuesve u panë flamingo të fryra, të përdorura si simbol i rrezikut që sipas aktivistëve i kanoset biodiversitetit të rajonit. Shumë prej tyre mbanin pankarta me slogane kundër privatizimit të zonave të mbrojtura dhe kërkonin transparencë mbi procedurat e ndjekura për miratimin e projektit.
Rama reagon për Zvërnecin

Kryeministri Edi Rama përmes një postimi në rrjetet sociale ka reaguar sërish për protestat për Zvërnecin.
Shefi i qeverisë ka postuar një video që thotë se i është dërguar nga një banor i Vlorës, ku pretendohet se zona ku planifikohet të bëhet ndërtimi i resortit në Zvërnec është një zonë që është lënë në kushte të këqija dhe se investimi prej 4 miliardë do të sillte të mira për zonën, teksa tregon një grumbull mbeturinash.
Rama akuzon edhe kundërshtarët e projektit se po përpiqen të pengojnë një investim që, sipas tij, do të transformojë Vlorën dhe do ta ngrejë Shqipërinë në një nivel më të lartë të turizmit ndërkombëtar.
Projekti për Zvërnecin ka ngjallur revoltë në opinionin publik ku protesta e parë nisi në Zvërnec dhe më pas protestat morën përmasa më të mëdha edhe për shkak të dhunimit të një prej protestuesve nga policia private.
Dje në sheshin përpara Kryeministrisë u zhvillua protesta e katërt. Kjo protestë është shoqëruar me përplasje të qytetarëve me forcat e rendit.
Nga ana tjetër, prej ditësh ka pasur edhe reagime të herë pas hershme nga vetë kreu i qeverisë, Edi Rama, i cili thotë ky projekt është i jashtëzakonshëm për turizmin e Shqipërisë.
Igli Tare zyrtarisht i pandehur
SPAK i komunikon akuzën për pastrim parash
Igli Tare, ish-futbollist i kombëtares kuqezi, është marrë i pandehur nga SPAK. Tare u paraqit në Prokurorinë e Posaçme paraditen e së enjtes, ku edhe iu komunikua akuza e pastrimit të parave. Ishte prokurori Dritan Prençi, i njëjti që po zhvillon hetimet lidhur me ish-zv.Kryeministren, Belinda Balluku që i ka komunikuar akuzën Tares.
SPAK nuk ka dalë me një njoftim zyrtar lidhur me çështjen, por disa ditë më parë, u mor në pyetje edhe vëllai i tij, Agron Tare. Ky i fundit ka qenë drejtor i Përgjithshëm Ekzekutiv i Autoritetit Portual Durrës dhe zëvendësministër i Punëve të Jashtme. Agron Tare u pyet nga SPAK me cilësinë e personit që ka dijeni për rrethanat e hetimit.
Igli Tare has been living in Italy for years, while he has held managerial positions at Lazio and Milan, where he was recently dismissed by the Rossoneri. Tare has not held any state positions in Albania, but his name was included in the in-depth investigations that the Special Prosecution Office launched against the former Deputy Prime Minister, sifting through her assets.
Tare was initially called to testify, as he was considered by the Special Prosecution Office to be a key person for the investigation, especially in terms of verifying the assets of the former Deputy Prime Minister. His call to testify was preceded by several checks that BKH investigators carried out on related persons or several businessmen, regarding the "Balluku" file.
SPAK called Igli Taren twice, but the former national football player did not show up the first time due to being abroad.
The investigation remains ongoing, while SPAK is expanding verifications to shed light on possible connections and responsibilities in the file.
