The police of Lezha carried out checks this morning at two construction sites in Shengjin, after the serious events that happened recently, where two workers lost their lives during working hours.
The police have requested cooperation with the Labor Inspectorate and the local Inspectorate, to put an end to the illegality, starting from the fact that the constructions in the building were being carried out without a permit and that no measures had been taken to ensure the rules of protection at work.
Regarding the cases, it is announced that the works have been suspended at both construction sites.
We remind you that the two workers who died at the workplace are Preng Gjoni, about 50 years old, and 28-year-old Emiljano Frroku.
As for the accident at work on Saturday, where 50-year-old Preng Gjoni lost his life, he was taken to the hospital without signs of life by other workers, who left the emergency room out of fear. The police have identified them and investigations are continuing under the direction of the Lezha Prosecutor's Office.
