Erion Veliaj, the mayor of Tirana, who has been arrested for 1 week by order of SPAK and a decision of the GJKKO, stated in a post on the network that the work on the construction of new schools in Tirana does not stop.
Veliaj has published photos from the construction site at the new 'Edith Durham' school, which is the 48th educational building (9th grade and high school) being built.
"Even though I am imprisoned without trial, with a file specially designed to keep me away from city affairs, the work to build new schools in Tirana does not stop!
The new "Edith Durham" school is the 48th in the bouquet of educational buildings (9-year-old and high school) that we have built together in Tirana, and I am pleased that work there is continuing at the same pace, to have it ready for the children in September.
