Veliaj bids farewell to Nano, sends wreath of flowers in honor of former Prime Minister

Unable to be present at the funeral ceremony in person, Erion Veliaj has sent a wreath of flowers on his behalf to be placed next to the coffin of former Prime Minister Fatos Nano.

Nano is being escorted to his final resting place today. The historic leader of Albania passed away two days ago at the age of 73. The Socialist Party group has written together to pay their last respects to Nano, while the ceremony will close with a speech by Prime Minister Rama, who is also the successor to Nano and his wife, Xhoana Nano.
