SP MP Eduart Ndreca spoke about the arrest of his brother Armondo Ndreca for cannabis cultivation, a week ago.
According to MP Ndreca, the Court of Lezha has determined the brother's arrest as illegal, and as for whether or not he believes in his involvement in cannabis cultivation, he says that he has left it up to the justice to decide.
Dafina Hysa: Last week, the escorting and detention of your brother as a suspect for the cultivation of narcotics made the rounds of the portals and the media, since it is about the brother of a member of parliament. In what legal position is Armando Ndreca currently?
Eduart Ndreca: The court of Lezha decided the illegal arrest of the brother and because another investigation was started by the police which was then referred to the prosecution, it is definitely mandatory to appear, but the prosecution also withdrew from the arrest made by the court issued the illegal arrest. This much I know, what I can say in advance is because every word of mine takes on weight, takes on different content, what I can say is that my brother is available like any other citizen of Albanian justice. I cannot comment on any action of the police, nor the court, nor the prosecution, it is available to all the institutions of this country, and I encourage the police and the prosecution to take the started case to the end.
Dafina Hysa : Do you exclude his involvement in the cultivation of cannabis?
Eduart Ndreca: I do not exclude anyone when justice has started to speak, even my brother.
