39-year-old Altin Çoku was left in prison after an intimate photo of him caused the suicide of a 27-year-old woman. The latter jumped from the fourth floor terrace and as a result lost her life.
Altin Çoku is a well-known character on Tik Tok where his LIVE videos caused a great reaction. On this platform, he spoke about the event in question, which according to him, the photo was shared by a third person.

Referring to previous reports in the media, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction informs the following:
On 10.02.2024, around 22:30, the judicial police services were notified that on "Teuta" street, neighborhood no. 7, Bathore, fell from the height of a 4-storey building with the initials S. A, which was then sent to the hospital where he died. The examination of the phone showed that the victim with the initials SA had communications on social networks with the person under investigation, citizen A. Ç, in connection with a photograph of the victim and the person under investigation, which was published on the social network.
The Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana has conducted the trial related to the legal evaluation of the detention and the assignment of the security measure "arrest in prison" to the person under investigation, the citizen with the initials A. Ç, suspected of committing the crime criminal "Causing suicide", provided by article 99 of the Criminal Code.
The Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, with decision no. 421 Reg. Them, dated 15.02.2024, decided:
The evaluation as legal of the arrest in flagrante delicto, against the person under investigation Ç, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Causing suicide", provided by article 99 of the Criminal Code.
The assignment to the person under investigation Ç, the measure of personal security that of "arrest in prison" provided by article 238 of the Criminal Code. Criminal.
The case on appeal was examined on the basis of the complaint made by the person under investigation with the initials A. Ç, who requested the change of the decision and the assignment of a milder personal insurance measure, due to his health condition.
At the end of the trial, today on 11.03.2024, the Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, composed of the panel with Judge Ms. Irena Brahimi decided:
-Approval of decision no. 421 Reg. Them, dated 15.02.2024 of the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Tirana.
