The flow of cars continues at the customs of Kakavija, on both sides of the movement towards the border with Greece.
According to the Border Police in Gjirokastër, during the last 24 hours SPK Kakavijë services have processed 12116 citizens in entry - exit, of which 4915 in entry and 7201 in exit, as well as 3827 vehicles in entry - exit, of which 1557 in entry and 2270 at the exit.
About 24,000 Albanian and foreign citizens registered at the entry-exit counters at Kakavija customs during the weekend.
The increasing flow has led to an increase in the number of document counters from both the Border Police and the Greek side.
During the weekend, the Border Police in Kakavije worked with 7 counters for the processing of documents with 3 counters at the entrance and 4 at the exit of the Albanian land. The Greek side worked with 4 counters, 2 at the entrance and 2 at the exit while the long waiting lines at the border were avoided.
