In the balance sheet of the Traffic Police Directorate, it should be noted that most of the fines, around 7,234, were imposed for speeding beyond the permitted rates, as well as for using a mobile phone while driving and for not using a seat belt.
As a result of monitoring on all road axes and urban centers, during one week the police suspended 168 driving licenses for speeding above the permitted rates, for driving under the influence of alcohol/in a drunken state, and for traffic in the opposite direction and 61 drivers were arrested, of these 39 for driving while intoxicated and 22 for driving without a driving license.

At the same time, the police announced that monitoring measures have been taken with cameras and speedometers, to prevent the violation of traffic rules during traffic in the tunnel of Llogara, Kalimash and Elbasan.
