
Even though we are on the eve of the New Year, Greek farmers continue their protests without giving up.
The Greek border police have announced that today from 12:00 to 16:00 (Greek time), the national road "Kapshtica-Thessaloniki" will be blocked due to the protest that Greek farmers will hold.
According to the police, only secondary roads will be operational for vehicles. Meanwhile, the Qafë Thanë Border Crossing Point has also announced road closures.
The North Macedonian police have also announced that on the "Strugë-Qafë Thanë" road axis, about 3 km from the Macedonian customs, as a result of a road accident, where a gas-powered truck blocked the road.

Today, through the joint information exchange center in Gjirokastra, the Greek Border Police has been notified that on 30.12.2025, from 12:00 to 16:00 (Greek time), the national road "Kapshtica-Sellanik" will be blocked due to the protest that will be held by Greek farmers. Only secondary roads will function for vehicles.
Qafë Thane Border Crossing Point:
This morning, we were informed by the North Macedonian police that on the "Strugë-Qafë Thanë" road axis, about 3 km from the Macedonian customs, as a result of a road accident, a gas-powered truck has blocked the road.
For this reason, we inform you that the movement of vehicles exiting the Republic of Albania and entering North Macedonia will be blocked until the road is fully open and passable for vehicles," the police announced.
