The fire on Mount Dukat in Vlora continues to be intense, although two aircraft from Greece intervened from the air yesterday to extinguish the flames.

Meanwhile, the air intervention is expected to resume today with two aircraft from Greece, which worked to extinguish the flames yesterday. Through the European Civil Protection Mechanism, the European Union has brought its fleet to extinguish the fires in our country.
Three Canadair aircraft have been deployed so far in the operation, two from Greece, deployed to extinguish the fire in Dukat, and another from Italy in the Lura National Park. The EU also stressed that it is ready to provide more support if necessary.
