The fire at the scrap collection point in the "Kurum" factory follows on the second day. The fire broke out yesterday, November 6, at the scrap collection point in the former Elbasan Metallurgical Plant.

The flames engulfed the exterior of the "Kurum" factory and fortunately no one was injured.

Blues, the fire brigade and the workers of the "Kurum" company worked to move the waste and isolate the flames. However, the situation appears difficult even this morning.

The cause of the flames is suspected to have been an electric spark released by a battery, and then the fire spread after the explosion of a gas cylinder. Meanwhile, firefighters have been working for more than 20 hours to extinguish the flames.
