The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, congratulated the opening of the new academic year from the "Aleksandër Moisiu" University in Durrës.
In his message to students and professors, President Begaj appealed that the approach to higher education in Albania must adapt to technological changes and must aim to build a fairer, more advanced and more developed country.
The Head of State declared before the audience at the beginning of the new academic year that young people are the future generation of Albania and that university studies should not only aim for a diploma, but should be used as an opportunity for knowledge, dedication and responsibility.
"Higher education is not just a door to a profession, but it is the key to understanding the world, to gaining deep knowledge that provides solutions to challenges," emphasized President Begaj.
In his message, the President of the Republic encouraged educators to offer young people opportunities for a quality education and advised students to invest their knowledge in Albania to be the leaders of the future.
