Rama's visit to Athens on May 12, Frrok Çupi: Albanians contribution

Prime Minister Edi Rama will be on May 12 in the capital of Greece, Athens, where he will meet with Albanian immigrants who work and live in the neighboring country.

In an interview in "Special Report", analyst Frrok Çupi commented on Prime Minister Rama's visit to Greece, and the reactions related to Rama's visit.

Çupi emphasized that this meeting is like a bridge being thrown by the Albanian government, while he underlined that Albanians have made an important contribution to the economic development of Greece.

"It is a bridge that is thrown by the Albanian state, by the government. But there is also a value that the Greek media has not said, since the meeting of a prime minister of the Republic of Albania with these terms means a political and even civil, citizen support of the people who live there. If Greece did not have that Albanian majority, it would have big problems with the age of the population, with business developments, but also with the relations between the races that live and work in Greece. The current activity is related to a political, election campaign, and also fulfills a request for Albanians living abroad to participate in the politics of Albania. Would Rama be banned from going to Greece for the reasons that have been said? To tell the truth, those attempts seem primitive to me and have not happened. But Greece with the actions it is following has a reason that it is doing this and it is related to the rapid development of the Albanian state after it has emerged from the predictions of Serbia, Moscow and Athens. So it is able to have legal sovereignty, law enforcement", he said.
