While the two arrested for the double murder in Finikounda are blaming each other for who pulled the trigger, authorities suspect that two other people may have been involved in the crime, in which the victims were the Greek owner of the campsite and his Albanian assistant.
The authorities are not convinced by the story of the 22-year-old who surrendered to GADA last Tuesday, regarding sexual abuse in 2022 at the campsite by the 68-year-old owner, as he did not even try to file a complaint and instead made money by blackmailing the elderly man!
At the same time, the other 22-year-old who has been named as the perpetrator of the crime, the owner and caretaker of the campsite, says that although he went to the scene, he was not the one who pulled the trigger.
The arrested man, as the suspected perpetrator of the double murder at the Finikounda campsite, denies his physical involvement in the crime.
The person who ordered the brutal execution also enters the equation, as does the guide of the two young men suspected of committing the murder.
According to the SKAI television station, there are indications, and quite strong ones, that there is a fourth person who also played a role in the plan to kill the 68-year-old.
While a second call has been identified after the 68-year-old's murder, it appears to be a specific person!
Investigators are examining a scenario involving four people: the mastermind of the crime, the one who helped in the escape and the two already arrested. The second phone call is believed to be linked to the point where the perpetrators separated after leaving about a kilometer from the campsite, an element that "is linked" to the need for another person to pick up the accomplice.
However, ELAS is close to unraveling the mystery and solving the murder that resembles a Hollywood thriller, while people close to the case repeatedly emphasize that "the identity of the perpetrator will be a surprise."
Investigative authorities suspect that the crime is related to the will and the large fortune that the 68-year-old man left in the "case of sudden death." The Greek owner left two wills, but with changes, which seem to have served in the investigation process.
According to MEGA, the person who was in the first will and not the second is the 68-year-old's niece. Authorities are aware of this and are investigating what prompted the unfortunate man to take this action.
