The Ukraine-Southeastern Europe summit will be held today in Tirana, where Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will also be present.
Emilio Çika, an expert on international affairs, has spoken about a possible recognition of Kosovo by Ukraine, during this visit of Zelensky to Tirana.
He said that this requires a decision-making that extends further to state institutions, but did not rule out the possibility of such news being announced.
"It is not a random decision-making, there must be decision-making by state bodies and there must be ratifications. There can be a political decision-making, on the other hand it must go through certain procedures for this recognition to happen de jure.
That would be good news. Kosovo was one of the first countries to extend its support. These are mainly political support, which of course have a certain role.
A news that would be of special interest would be the reaction of President Vucic if such a decision comes", said Çika.
