
The State Police guarantees the security of the electoral process, by making 55 officers and 7 vehicles of the Public Security Units available to the Central Election Commission in several regions of the country.
Police forces are engaged in escorting and protecting electoral materials from border checkpoints and CEC warehouses to counting centers in Vlora, Tepelenë, Berat, Burrel and Cërrik, as well as in maintaining public order in high-risk areas.
The police declare that they remain fully prepared to ensure a peaceful, legal and protected electoral process in every corner of the country.

In implementation of the obligations of the State Police during the electoral process, set out in point 2 of article 4 and point 6 of article 7 of Decision No. 12, dated 30.12.2020, of the CEC "Rules of the activity of the State Police in the service of elections", Decision No. 25, dated 27.03.2025 of the Regulatory Commission "On some amendments to Decision No. 12, dated 30.12.2020", we hereby provide you with the following information:
Given the general situation of public order and security, based on the requests of the Local Police Directorates, the request of the Albanian Football Federation, to guarantee order during sporting activities (football matches of the Superior and First categories), in order to increase security parameters, it has been deemed necessary to use the forces of the Public Security Units in the Directorate of the National Security Force at the DPPSH, to support the Local Police Directorates.
In support of the Central Election Commission for the provision of service, escorting, and securing electoral materials during transport from the Hani i Hotit checkpoint, Shkodra to the CEC warehouse premises in Vaqarr, Tirana, 7 (seven) police officers and 1 (one) vehicle of the Shkodra Public Security Unit have been engaged.
The service began at 08.00 on 06.11.2025 and ended at 02.00 on 07.11.2025.
In support of the Central Election Commission for the performance of the service, escorting, and securing electoral materials during transport from the CEC warehouses in Vaqarr, Tirana, towards the CEAZ in the Municipalities of Vlora, Tepelena, Berat, Burrel, and Cërrik, and the support of the Local Police Directorates for guaranteeing public order, 40 (forty) police officers and 5 (five) vehicles of the Fier and Tirana Public Security Units have been engaged in service.
The service began on 07.11.2025, at 06.00, until further notice.
In support of the Vlora Local Police Directorate for carrying out the service, supporting local police structures to guarantee public order and security in the territory under the jurisdiction of this directorate, 8 (eight) police officers and 1 (one) vehicle of the Fier Public Security Unit have been engaged in the service.
The service will begin on 07.11.2025, 14.00, until further notice.
