A fire has appeared on the mountain of Shengjin, while the fire services and forest service employees have been engaged on the ground. Due to the wind, there is a risk that the flames will spread, possibly endangering the apartments that serve as residences for various vacationers. Precisely for this reason, a coordinated intervention by all institutions has been requested to bring the flames under control.
The vice president of the Democratic Party, Agron Gjekmarkaj, deputy in the Lezha area, through a reaction appeals for fire intervention. The fire, he says, is endangering citizens and homes.
" Flames and smoke are everywhere around the city as a real danger of the moment but also a little more long-term for health! So far, efforts to quell it have been modest. Urgent intervention is needed not only from the local government but from the central government by any means, preferably by helicopter from the air.
There is no more time for propaganda. Inaction is turning into an environmental crime, a danger to life and property at the height of the tourist season. I call on the Prime Minister Edi Rama, the Minister of Defense Niko Peleshi to respond to the appeal for the intervention of the army and any institution that may be useful. No words are needed and above all no lies, but immediate action by the Government and the State if we still have such in reality and not in propaganda spots ", he writes.
Likewise, the forest massif at 'Firza e Qema', in Has Municipality, was engulfed in flames, during today's afternoon. The fire has engulfed the forest massif of this village in a very difficult terrain and far from the highways.
It is learned that the teams of the fire service of the municipality of Has, together with the employees of the forest service, have started, while the wind is favoring its spread. Meanwhile, in the other two active foci of the Birds in Tropoja and Letaj i Has, work is being done to isolate them.
