Another dangerous fire has fallen in national parks in the country. It is reported that today at noon a fire broke out in the area of the Tomoro National Park in Berat (Skrapar part), burning the crown of pine trees.
The local authorities explained that the fire is located in the "Maja e Čuka" area, where the annual pilgrimage of the Bektash believers is held, and the flames are spreading rapidly due to the wind and the broken terrain.
Dozens of employees of the fire brigade, forestry and police of Skrapar and Poliçan have gone to the scene. Intervention from the ground is considered difficult, as it is expected that help from the air will also be required.
