To remove Olsi Rama's name from the Spanish file and save him from being handcuffed, Prime Minister Edi Rama lobbied with powerful oligarchic economic and financial circles in the Spanish police and justice system.
Edi Rama's movements to save his brother are confirmed by information with Codification No.: "MD-223-AL-C/6", sent in early February 2024 by the Spanish Intelligence Agency "CNI", to Albanian law enforcement agencies and to the BKH and SPAK as partners in this investigation.
That information states that Edi Rama and 3 businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, during his visit to the "FITUR" tourism fair on January 23-24, 2024 in Madrid, negotiated in Spanish investigative decision-making segments to remove Olsi Rama's name from the "Call-Center" file.
The Spanish justice system has obtained evidence for Olsi Rama's role as the de facto leader of the "Milton" call-center fraud group in Albania from EUROPOL and wiretaps of contacts within the Maltese, Belarusian and Israeli mafia group.
But evidence and telephone and computer recordings have also been provided by two Albanians, Erindi Pysqyli and Berlando Saraçaj, call center administrators, arrested and under investigation by Spanish justice.
According to the information, lobbying was offered to the police chief and a central investigator of Spain, in return for a reward, on the evening of January 23, 2024, facilitated by 3 oil and energy businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, who were confidential companions of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
