On the basis of this information and verification from other confidential sources, the DEA office in Tirana, in implementation of the joint Anti-trafficking agreement, gave the Albanian police an ultimatum to start destroying the drug parcels.
Not having faith in the Albanian police, in the drug disposal teams, the DEA has engaged its agents, who have received accurate and concrete information about every plot in every area, so this time the Albanian police is not making clientelistic differentiations in the disposal Theirs.
However, the fact that for many plots in Krujë, Lezhë and Shkodër, it is being reported that the cultivators are not known and that they could not be caught, shows that the police are hiding, protecting and notifying the perpetrators before carrying out the actions.
