The majority seems to be making all efforts to keep Olta Xhaçka in Parliament. Even though she is in a pure conflict of interest because her husband has bought properties on the coast, Rama and his trustees are fighting with "flesh and soul" so that Xhaçka's mandate is not removed.
A year ago, DP demanded that Xhaçka's mandate be revoked because he violated the law on conflict of interest. The SP dismissed the request, but the DP complained to the Constitutional Court and the latter forced the Assembly to accept the opposition's request and then be the court that decides whether Xhaçka violated the law or not.
The SP went so far as to question the decision of the Constitutional Court and agreed to an expert to interpret the decision. However, the expert Krenar Loloçi left them in the mud because in his report it was stated that the decision is not negotiated, but must be implemented. In this situation, the socialists have made another trick today, postponing the discussions until the fall.
Klotilda Bushka and Ermonela Felaj, during the discussions in the Legislation Council, came up with a new theory. They decided to pass the matter for discussion to the Council of Mandates. Practically crossing the zero point.

But the opposition came against it. Gazmet Bardhi said that the Mandates Council has no right to review the decisions of the Constitutional Court. According to him, everything is being done to drag out the process.
