The "hostage" institutions of the strong have become fashionable since the renaissance, which in the third governing term continues to be calm in the face of a non-existent opposition.
Shkodra is one of the typical examples of how some of these institutions have had this fate and at their head is the Director of the Electricity Distribution Operator, Armand Zhuka.
The gang of Durrës and Shijak have patronized the institution and the owner himself, and then use it according to their interests. Zhuka was the loyal wing of the former head of OSHEE, Adrian Çela, the political boss of the Durrës gang. The fate of Zhuka has been put into question after the strong clash between Çela and Balluk and the arrest of Vangjush Dako. It is scandalous how Shkodra, the city of electricity, does not find among its socialist engineers a dignified figure for this important institution, but has to import a mercenary of criminal gangs from other cities.
A frightening reality created as an atypical "model" and where everyone has chosen not to speak. Spread in every city, such gangs that operate in regions with economic development in Albania, such as the Tirana - Durrës trajectory, have not left Shkodra behind, where the tentacles of the powerful already have their hostages.
The latter do not hesitate to openly declare at different tables how they have their trusted man in Shkodër who runs one of the "mining" institutions as far as the income he collects, the tenders he owns.
The strong connections of the dark world have even managed to challenge the deputies and political leaders of the district when their replacement with other names or for any tender that is carried out in the north of Albania has come into discussion.
Edi Rama and his government have submitted to this reality to the point that these names are stronger than the public interest itself, or the political party that has the merit of winning the elections. This open challenge shows once again how the law is made by the strong and the principle, with us or against us, has found application, it is present before our eyes./ ShkodraNews
