According to the information available to "Pamphlet", EU special prosecutors will be deployed in Albania within September 2023, where they will open a special investigation office for files on individuals, criminal groups and senior Albanian officials.
The object of their work is the investigation into the corruption that Albanian officials have done with the funds and grants given by the EU in the years 2005-2022, but also the files with the activities of drug trafficking, human trafficking and money laundering, related to mafia groups in EU countries.
