The company was founded in 1996 and is believed to have received tens of millions of euros in public money over the years, with the influence of Ilir Meta.
Metani sometimes appeared as the owner himself, sometimes he transferred the company in the name of the citizen Sofije Shani. However, the data show that the company was founded and is controlled by Ilir Meta's uncle.
At a time when he received public money, Vladimir Metani is among the financiers of LSI, the party headed by Ilir Meta.
Prapaskena learns that Ilir Meta's uncle, Vladimir Metani, has privatized public assets, while taking public money when Ilir Meta was prime minister and in other high public positions.
Ilir Meta's uncle received the tenders from Skrapar Municipality, Rrogozhinë Municipality, Berat, Klos, Berat, Tirana, Prrenjas, Kavajë, Peqin, Lezhë and about 5 million euros from Reconstruction.
The tenders have been finalized mainly with bargaining at the table and with winning bids close to the fund limit.
