The prefect of the Fier district, Rajmonda Balili, did not appear in the Special Court at the hearing for the verification of the security measure 'suspension from duty' for the criminal offense of violation of equality in tenders carried out in cooperation in two cases, and falsification of documents at the time when she was the mayor of Patos.
Rajmonda Balili is being investigated by SPAK because during the time she was in charge of the Municipality of Patos, she predetermined the winning company "Genti 001" before the tender was held, thus committing a violation of equality in tenders. It is about a company which is 100% owned by Ilir Dervishaj, which, according to SPAK, for three consecutive years (2019-2022) has been declared the winner in 32 procurement procedures organized by the Municipality of Patos.
