Although, following the order of Prime Minister Edi Rama, hostels in Theth were razed and tents on the sidewalks of Tirana and several cities were removed, the state police, municipalities, and IKMT are not touching the public spaces that have been occupied by some police leaders affiliated with the government.
A typical case of this inviolability is the territory and public beach in the area called "Hidden Bay" in the military zone of Porto Palermo, which has been "occupied" by the criminal police officer in the Vlora District, Vojo Peçi, brother of the former mayor and MP Tërmet Peçi.
"Cubi" Vojo Peçi, registered by SHISH and the police themselves as a cannabis cultivator and drug trafficker, when he was a crime officer in Gjirokastër and Kuçove and now in the Vlora District Police; the land area and the beach in Porto Palermo, he did not purchase, nor inherit from his father Nuro Peçi, nor was it granted by government decision.
Yes, he has surrounded it with a fence, installed an iron gate and guards with illegal weapons, just like an ISIS military base, and inside it he has built a hotel, a parking lot, set up guesthouses and beach umbrellas with sun loungers, and only allows those who spend their vacations there and pay for daily beach access.
According to the complaints, those local and foreign vacationers and tourists who have sought to enter the fenced area have not had the iron gate opened, while those who have attempted to enter or have entered have been threatened and beaten by the guards and "brave men" appointed by Vojo Peçi.
Denunciations regarding this occupation of territory have been sent to the General Director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, the Director of the Vlora District Police, where he is an officer, and Prime Minister Edi Rama, which have also been published by the media with concrete evidence.
But the police and none of the local and central state institutions dare to liberate the public land and beach area in the Hidden Bay of Porto Palermo, allegedly occupied by Vojo Peçi, together with his brother Tërmet Peçi, a member of parliament for the Socialist Party.
Because "Commander" Edi Rama did not give an order to liberate this public space, remove the fence, gate, umbrellas and sun loungers, and demolish the Vojo and Tërmet Peçi hotels.
On Sunday morning, Babloku ordered Police Chief Ilir Proda to fire and expel from the police all those employees who have surrounded and occupied public spaces on the beaches and are using them for profit by extorting citizens.
But officer Vojo Peçi has not vacated the area and beach he has usurped in Porto Palermo, while police chief Ilir Proda is not dismissing him from the police force.
Now the question that remains to be asked is this: - Prime Minister! Will the space occupied by officer Vojo Peçi be vacated and will you expel him from the ranks of the police?/ Pamphlet
