The Italian newspaper "Domani" and Trochia's book: the Rama government's ties with the Albanian mafia
The Italian newspaper "Domani" published excerpts from the book "Invincibili. The Albanian mafia from Rome to the conquest of the world" by journalist Nello Trochia, which discusses the role of Albanian drug groups and their connections with the "Rama" government.
The book mentions the January 2019 meeting in Aruba in the Caribbean, where, according to the Italian anti-mafia, in addition to ministers and figures from the underworld, there are indications that Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present.
Among the participants, according to the book, was the mafioso Artur Shehu, known for the robbery of 600 hectares of land in Vlora and his involvement in drug trafficking, clandestine smuggling, and murder in the 1997s.
From Aruba to construction permits in Albania
It is no coincidence that on April 23, 2020, after the secret meeting in the Caribbean, Shehu created the company "Adhenis sh.pk", 100% owned by him, through a power of attorney granted to Leonard Bishaj, one of his collaborators in the land grabs.
On March 16, 2022, by decision no. 28 of the National Territorial Council, Shehu's company "Adhenis" received permission to build hotels and restaurants on the Lungomare of Vlora, 50 meters inland.
Artur Shehu's Profile
Shehu has escaped and lives in Florida, USA as a wanted person. The lands looted by him and Pëllumb Petritajt have passed at symbolic prices to the Meta, Berisha, Rama, Llalla families, as well as to ministers, oligarchs, judges and prosecutors. The record is held by Fidel Ylli with 100 hectares.
He has been investigated for money laundering in Albania and Italy, as part of the Sacra Corona Unita mafia group.
Italian media and OCCRP, in May 2018, described him as "the chief gangster of land grabbing on the coast of Vlora and money laundering with the Italian mafia, connected and protected by politicians and justice leaders in Albania."
Rama on the Anti-Mafia Law
The Anti-Mafia Law clearly prohibits the granting of licenses and public assets to people in the criminal world or under investigation for murder, money laundering, drug trafficking or theft of property. However, Edi Rama has signed the granting of permits and licenses to Artur Shehu.
According to Italian anti-mafia sources, money laundering agreements through investments in construction and tourism in Albania were sealed precisely at the secret meeting in January 2019 in Aruba, where Shehu was a key figure./ Pamphlet

Ne 2014 Rama ndaloi gjuetine per arsye qe kultivuesit e kanabisit ishin ankuar qe gjahtaret po na shqetesojne ne plantacionet e hashashit.
