Israeli Ron Yeffet has made massive inroads into the most powerful sectors of the Albanian economy: energy, transport, tourist resorts, digital technology, and most recently the arms industry. All of this he has acquired through government decisions and the personal blessing of Edi Rama.
In August 2025, Yeffet took over the monopoly on armaments and military vehicles, through the Turkish company “Timak Defense”, as an 80% partner in the state-owned company “KAYO sh.a.”. To the public, this was presented as an international agreement. But the documents show that Yeffet is a personal friend of the prime minister and a broker for his shady dealings.
His connections go even further: Yeffet is a partner in several companies with Sinan Idrizi, known for international fraud, money laundering and trafficking. In 2018, the two of them, through the company "Mifol Inert sh.pk", illegally exploited gravel and ballast from the Vjosa River for the construction of the Vlora airport runway.
That same year, Idrizi created “MDN Investment sh.pk” for airport construction and terminal management. Just a few months after its establishment, the shares were formally sold to his wife and daughter, Najada and Rejana Idrizi, as well as to Yeffet. Then, through fictitious purchases and sales, the company passed back under the control of the Idrizi family, remaining directly linked to “Air Albania”, Rama’s famous charter project.
The scheme is clear: shell companies, intra-family share purchases and transfers to international brokers like Yeffet, to cover money laundering and hide real ownership.
After many public denunciations with documents, the only question is:
Will SPAK launch an investigation into this corruption and money laundering network? Or will Sinan Idrizi and Ron Yeffet remain untouchable, because they are part of Edi Rama's clan and affairs?/Pamphlet
