In recent days, Engjëll Agaçi, in a bargain with Eduard Shalesi, has targeted Valbona Sanxhatari to appoint her as a member of the Financial Supervisory Authority through Parliament...
Former KPK member Valbona Sanxhaktari, who turned Vetting into the 'sandjak' of Edi Rama and her tutor Engjëll Agaçi, has been arranged and sheltered in the Prime Minister's Office by Babloku with the intervention of Agaçi, who has dismissed and confirmed dozens of magistrates in the judiciary through Bona's hand.
A few days after the end of her mandate as a member of the Vetting, Valbona Sanxhaktari was catapulted to the position of legal director in the Prime Minister's Office, with an office next to her master, Engjëll Agaçi, to work together to coordinate the orders of oligarchs and clientelist interest groups. Sanxhaktari's appointment to this key position in the Prime Minister's Office was made several months ago when the Vetting member was dismissing honest judges and prosecutors on Agaçi's orders.
Not only that. In recent days, Engjëll Agaçi, in bargaining with Eduard Shalesi, has targeted Valbona Sanxhatari to appoint her as a member of the Financial Supervisory Authority through Parliament.
In implementation of this bargain, Valbona Sanxhaktari appeared yesterday at the Economy Committee headed by Eduard Shalsi, where she presented her 'vision' for the position of member of the Board of the Financial Supervisory Authority, who will hold the function of Chairman of the Board. The other candidates are: Emis Çerava, Mr. Julian Naqellari, Mr. Artur Ribaj, Mr. Petrit Perhati and Mr. Saimir Tola.
With this move, the tutor Engjëll Agaçi aims to achieve two goals; to appoint Valbona Sanxhatari as a member and then as chairwoman of the AFSA Board. It remains to be seen whether Rama will approve this move at a time when SPAK is investigating the corruption scheme of Sanxhatari and Agaçi with Vetting, where the payments to pass the first instance went up to 600 thousand euros, while many honest judges and prosecutors who have cracked down on organized crime have been dismissed at the behest of crime, through Agaçi who had Sanxhatari under his patronage.
One of the vetting scandals was undoubtedly the commissioner Valbona Sanxhaktari, who judged the wealth and professionalism of prosecutors and judges, but turned out not to have the necessary knowledge and capacities to fulfill the task of the special commissioner. Valbona Sanxhaktari was evaluated by the members of the commission for correcting the exam papers with a very poor result in relation to the other competing students. Sanxhaktari only took the written exam, while for the confrontation and oral exam before the commission of the School of Magistrates, she did not appear at all, since her appointment was ordered.
Meanwhile, on June 7, 2004, it turned out that Sanxhaktari was investigated by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offense of "Theft by Abuse of Office" as provided for in Articles 139 and 25 of the Criminal Code. During the period 2001-2003, Valbona Sanxhaktari worked as a lawyer in the Legal and Procurement Directorate at the Ministry of Education and Science. However, the audits of the Supreme Audit Office at that time raised suspicions of abuse of public funds in the tender for the reconstruction of a dormitory in Elbasan. For this reason, the Tirana Prosecutor's Office not only registered the criminal proceedings, but also conducted investigations, taking her as a defendant. /Pamphlet
